Subaru has unveiled a concept version of the Impreza compact sedan that will be built next year in the United States.
The Impreza Sedan Concept, unveiled at the Los Angeles Auto Show, illustrates Subaru’s new design language with crisper lines and sportier styling. A five-door hatchback concept was shown last month at the Tokyo Motor Show.
Both cars show Subaru’s attempt to make its compacts sexier and more dynamic than current models. The Impreza four- and five-door cars will be assembled at Subaru’s factory in Lafayette, Ind., starting in mid-2016.
