Production versions of the upcoming Lincoln Continental have been spotted on Detroit-area roads recently as Ford engineers test the car's cooling, braking, air conditioning and other systems. The Continental concept car debuted earlier this year at the New York auto show, and the flagship sedan is expected to go on sale next spring as a 2017 model. This Continental was spied last week near Ford Motor Co.’s product development center in Dearborn. Although not visible in this photo, the car sported Lincoln’s new, more conventional squared-off grille.
