Jeep will produce 50 limited edition Wrangler Red Rocks next year to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Easter Jeep Safari in Moab, Utah.
A concept version of the 2016 Red Rock, which features some of the same equipment the special edition will, was one of several highly accessorized and concept vehicles that Fiat Chrysler Automobiles displayed at the Specialty Equipment Market Association show last week in Las Vegas.
Based on the four-door Wrangler Rubicon Hard Rock, the Red Rock concept includes much of the heavy-duty off-roading equipment found on the base vehicle. It also features new off-road rock rails, special badging and decals and several specialized Mopar accessories, including gloss-black grille throat rings and headlight accents.
The Red Rock's interior has embroidered brown Katzkin leather seats with silver accent stitching and the Red Rock name on the seat back.
Other accessorized vehicles from FCA:
- Dodge Challenger GT AWD Concept: A first-ever all-wheel-drive Challenger, this two-door muscle car is painted in Destroyer Grey with Header Orange accents and features concept five-point 20-inch wheels. The 5.7-liter, V-8 engine is upfitted with Mopar's Scat Pack 3 accessory kit, which adds 75 hp and 44 pounds-feet of torque.
