Rejoice Ridgeline fan(s)! Take in the 2017 Honda Ridgeline pickup … Well, the hood, the top, and most of the bed of the Honda Ridgeline, anyway.
This SEMA example of Honda’s Baja race truck isn’t the complete 2017 Ridgeline, but it will share some sheetmetal with the upcoming midsize Honda pickup, which is slated to go on sale in the first half of next year.
Honda is expected to introduce the production version of the Ridgeline at the 2016 Detroit auto show in January.
The SEMA truck also reintroduces Honda to off-road racing. It features a tube frame, and power from Honda Performance Development’s HR35TT: a twin-turbocharged 3.5-liter V-6 engine that produces upwards of 550 hp.
