Ford Mustang enthusiasts on the nice list might be in luck this holiday season.
The 2015 Neiman Marcus Limited-Edition Mustang convertible is among the fantasy gifts in the retailer’s 2015 Christmas Book.
Ford and custom shop SMC Productions will build 100 of the Mustangs. Each will have a $95,000 price tag, which includes a two-day stint at a Ford Racing School course. The price does not include taxes, title, licensing, registration or shipping.
SMC Productions LLC is handling the sale.
Ford says the cars will be delivered through a network of Ford dealers.
The limited-edition Mustang marks the pony car’s 50th anniversary and has a 700-hp engine, racing suspension, carbon-fiber trim, MagnaFlow custom-side exhaust and racing seats all wrapped in a blue, black and silver tri-coat exterior.
They will only be offered with a manual transmission.
The cars will go on sale at noon EDT on Oct. 13. Deliveries will take place by March 1.
Neiman Marcus will donate $1,000 to The Heart of Neiman Marcus Foundation for each sale.
In years past, the Dallas-based retailer has offered a variety of mostly exotic cars including Aston Martins, McLarens and Maseratis -- all selling out shortly after being offered.
