The auto industry can learn something from Shake Shack, the fast-growing burger chain out of New York.
Shake Shack is currently one of the darlings of a very dysfunctional Wall Street. Its stock has been soaring, and bloviators such as Jim Cramer of CNBC are constantly pumping the company, making up ridiculous metrics such as the “taste per share quotient,” and other nonsense.
But read the online reviews of the company’s food and you’ll find plenty of customers who have tried a burger and fries and found their meal to be slightly above average for fast food fare. Where Shake Shack wins, though, is in the presentation.
