Mercedes-Benz is poised to secure the naming rights to a new stadium for the NFL’s Atlanta Falcons, according to a report.
The Sports Business Journal reported Friday that the automaker has agreed to acquire the naming rights to the Falcons stadium, set to open in time for the NFL’s 2017-18 season. An announcement about the deal is expected Monday, Sports Business Journal reported.
This isn’t Mercedes first shot at stadium naming rights. The Louisiana Superdome was renamed the Mercedes-Benz Superdome when the automaker agreed to a 10-year marketing deal in 2011.
