AutoNation Ford Bellevue was still smoldering today after a fire ripped through the dealership Saturday morning.
The fire at the Bellevue, Wash., store started at 3 a.m., and another blaze followed five hours later, Lt. Richard Burke, a Bellevue Fire Department spokesman, said in an interview.
Burke said it was a total loss. Crews are still on the scene trying to determine the cause of the fire. The building has been too unstable to determine the cause, and the fire department still hasn’t had access to the center of the building, Burke said.
“We still have engine companies there as we speak, looking for hot spots,” Burke said this morning.
No one was in the dealership at the time, and no injuries were reported, he said.
