Automakers defend diesels, call them key to meeting CO2 goals

The 2026 Toyota RAV4 will follow the Camry and come standard with a hybrid powertrain, with a PHEV available as an option. The sixth-generation RAV4 arrives in U.S. showrooms this fall, Toyota said.
