Could the average American name the CEO of General Motors? Despite Mary Barra's very high profile, we're not too sure he could. But in Japan, everyone must know that Toyota is run by Akio Toyoda, grandson of the founder of the company.
During a meeting for individual investors in Japan, Toyota showed a video of man-on-the-street footage asking regular Japanese whether they could identify the head of their country's biggest manufacturer.
One young man suggested it was the "owner" of the company: Carlos Ghosn.
Ghosn, of course, is the French boss of rival Nissan.
Toyoda shrugged off his low profile, saying it's not important people know his name, just the names of the company's cars.
