Mercedes-Benz will add an ultraexclusive version of its venerable G-class lineup -- a V-12 powered G65 AMG, according to company sources. The model has been sold outside the U.S. since 2012; it will be offered here for the 2016 model year.
Powered by a twin-turbocharged 6.0-liter V-12, the G65 AMG is rated at 604 hp, with the top speed limited to 143 mph. For the U.S. market, a price of more than $250,000 is likely.
