Nissan announced pricing on the 2015 models of its Frontier pickup and Xterra SUV today. Pricing on the Frontier is unchanged in the 2015 model year, starting at $18,850, including shipping, while the 2015 Xterra starts at $24,520, including shipping, about $300 more than the 2014 model.
The Frontier is offered in King Cab and Crew Cab body styles, and has two powertrain options. Buyers can choose between a 4.0-liter, 261-hp, V-6 engine and a King Cab model with a 2.5-liter, 152-hp, four-cylinder engine.
The Frontier is offered in five trim lines. The pickup received a few new features in the 2015 model year, including NissanConnectSM with navigation and a moonroof added as a standard feature.
Frontier sales increased 13 percent in 2013. Deliveries of the pickup have jumped 20 percent through July this year.
The Xterra is offering three trim lines with a 4.0-liter, 261-hp V-6 engine. Buyers can choose between a six-speed manual transmission and a five-speed manual transmission available with part-time four-wheel or two-wheel drive.
The Xterra sits on a truck platform and is packed with technology, including NissanConnectSM with navigation and a 5.8-inch touch screen.
Xterra sales were up 3 percent in 2013, but the SUV has started to slip this year with deliveries down 4 percent through July.
