LOS ANGELES (Bloomberg) -- Tesla Motors Inc. said it's assisting Los Angeles police and fire officials investigating the theft of a Model S sedan by a man who Friday led police on a high- speed chase before crashing the car in West Hollywood.
The carmaker "continues to cooperate" with authorities reviewing the matter, said Simon Sproule, a company spokesman, without elaborating.
The vehicle split into two after hitting a light pole, according to KTLA-TV.
