Kass Dawson, who took over in April as Facebook's head of Automotive, Global Vertical Strategy, will speak at the Automotive News World Congress next month in Detroit.
The social network, which is trying to increase its automotive advertising business, has been developing new products to help dealers reach car shoppers.
Dawson, who will speak on Wednesday, Jan. 15., spent four years at advertising company Jumpstart Automotive Group before joining Facebook.
Before that he spent nearly 10 years at Mercedes-Benz USA in marketing and public relations positions.
Dinner keynote speakers at the congress are General Motors CEO Dan Akerson and Mark Fields, COO of Ford. IBM and PwC are exclusive lead sponsors.
