DETROIT -- Chrysler Group's Ram Rumble Bee concept truck could be the first vehicle in the history of the auto industry that comes with a genuine insect as standard equipment.
The Ram Rumble Bee was unveiled today at the Woodward Dream Cruise in suburban Detroit, an annual one-day event that draws fans of classic muscle cars to Detroit.
It is expected to attract nearly a million spectators and as many as 40,000 old cars. Chrysler has rented a parking lot in a shopping center along the cruise route -- Woodward Ave. -- to display high-performance vehicles from all of its brands -- including Fiat.
Ford and GM also have large displays at the Dream Cruise but will not be using the event to showcase new concept vehicles.
