American Honda Motor Co. just came off one of the hottest Julys of any volume automaker with Honda brand's core products -- the CR-V, Accord and Civic -- leading the way.
Susie Rossick, senior manager for Honda and Acura regional marketing, is helping to direct the marketing message for those vehicles.
Rossick will be on a panel of speakers who will outline their visions at the second annual Automotive News New York marketing seminar Sept. 18 at the Marriott Marquis.
Rossick directs the Honda and Acura regional marketing groups and works closely with the national dealer network and field staff on those marketing messages. Rossick previously has held the position of Acura brand manager and manager of corporate advertising for American Honda.
Rossick will be joined in New York by Brian Smith, vice president of marketing for Lexus, and Kim McCullough, brand vice president of Land Rover North America.
The theme of the seminar is "Marketing's New Mix: Mastering the Message." Presentations will be followed by a panel discussion. The lunch program will focus on the proliferation of social media, the resurgence of advertising in network TV and the challenge of balancing new media with traditional forms of advertising.
A reception begins at 11:30 a.m., and lunch will be served at 12:30 p.m.
