To the Editor:
This is in response to "'All this Bluetooth stuff' is a time-suck for dealerships" (June 3).
We all have become a little too dependent on technology and the expectations of what technology can do for us.
Much of the technology has created a safety hazard in the use of our cars.
The complexities of operating an automobile today can be overwhelming to many people.
The factory requirement for dealerships to pass on techno knowledge is sometimes unrealistic as we can be financially punished by the factory for our customers' lack of learning ability.
I do not see this technology going away.
Rather it will become more invasive and more complex to use.
Maybe someday the car will just drive us where we want to go, and we can enjoy the ride.
