NORMAN, Okla. -- Longtime auto dealer Tommy Ferguson died Feb. 6. He was 72.
He began his automotive career as a car salesman in 1964. A decade later, he purchased a Pontiac dealership in Norman. The dealership, which was moved in 1980, is now Ferguson Buick-GMC.
The Ferguson family owns and operates three other dealerships: Ferguson Buick-GMC and Ferguson Advantage Imports (Subaru-Kia-Suzuki) in Broken Arrow, Okla., and Ferguson Buick-GMC in Colorado Springs, Colo.
