DETROIT -- Inteva Products says it will open a plant in Cordeiropolis, Brazil, to make door latches and window regulators.
The 40,000-square-foot facility houses an engineering test center as well as room for three production lines. One line will open next March, and two will be launched in April 2013.
Inteva has 100 employees in Cordeiropolis, with plans to hire 25 more workers next year.
Separately, Inteva says it has opened technical centers in Vandalia, Ohio, and Shanghai.
