To the Editor:
Dianne Craig is the best thing that has happened to Ford's Southeast market since 1985 ("Ford of Canada CEO Mondragon named to U.S. marketing post/Dianne Craig named new CEO of Canada unit," autonews.com, Oct. 25).
She is a team builder, peacemaker, friend and, without a doubt, one of the best dealer-relations managers who has ever worked for Ford Motor Co. It came as no surprise when the news about her new job spread across the land.
For selfish reasons, I hoped she would stay longer. When I met Dianne, though, it was obvious she was moving up.
Best to her. From a dealer's standpoint, she will be missed. I know one day she will be running Ford in North America.
