To the Editor:
In an interview with Automotive News, General Motors North America President Mark Reuss said: "We have got to become a full-service automaker again" ("GM's golden opportunity to attract new customers," May 30).
Yet, with the U.S. Census Bureau projecting 27 million Americans in the 65- to 74-year-old age group in 2015 and 13.6 million in the 75- to 84-year-old age group, Buick dropped the Lucerne.
Will those customers now buy Buick LaCrosses and Chevrolet Impalas?
I'm hoping they will, but I am very concerned that they may look elsewhere.
