It's time to put to rest all the theories about electronic gremlins causing unintended acceleration problems in Toyota vehicles.
That myth, which was debunked when an exhaustive study by electronics engineers from NASA was unable to find any evidence of electronic problems, was blown out of court when a federal jury in New York found that Toyota was not responsible for causing a doctor's 2005 Scion to accelerate suddenly and smash into a tree.
The truth is out there, and it doesn't involve gremlins. It's time to move on.
