DELRAY BEACH, Fla. -- Ted Brodlieb, a retired dealer and past president and longtime director of the Greater New York Automobile Dealers Association, died Dec. 22. He was 94.
Brodlieb, a dealer for more than 50 years, owned several dealerships, including Idlewild Motors and Ted's Auto Sales in New York, as well as Brodlieb Motors in Woodmere, N.Y.
Brodlieb was president of the association from June 1987 to June 1988 and was a director for 26 years.
In his memory the association plans to award an annual scholarship and an internship in his name at the association. It also will make a $10,000 donation in his name to the National Automobile Dealers Association Charitable Foundation.
