Eaton names global marketing VP; IAV names Andrew Ridgway president; AIAG adds Bolden, Zamjahn to consulting staff
KALAMAZOO, Mich. -- Eaton Corp. has named John Coll vice president of global marketing for the vehicle group. He will report to vehicle group President Kenneth Davis and work at Eaton's vehicle group headquarters near here.
Previously, Coll was director of sales for Eaton's truck business in North America. In 2001, he joined Eaton as director of global channel marketing for the Cutler-Hammer Group.
Coll holds a bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of West Virginia, plus a master's degree in business administration from the University of Pittsburgh.
In other personnel moves, Eaton made these appointments:
• Don Alles to director of branding and communications.
• Bill Carter to director of sales and marketing functional excellence.
• Tom Nellenbach to director of marketing intelligence.
NORTHVILLE, Mich. -- Andrew Ridgway has been named president of IAV Automotive Engineering Inc. in Northville, Mich. He replaces Utz-Jens Beister, who returned to the company's corporate parent, IAV GmbH, last year.
For the past four years, Ridgway was general manager of Valeo Thermal Systems in North America. He was responsible for developing and marketing engine cooling and air-conditioning systems.
IAV Automotive offers engineering expertise in powertrain, transmissions, calibration, and development of diesel, gasoline and alternative-fuel engines.
SOUTHFIELD, Mich. -- The Automotive Industry Action Group has added two staffers to provide more expertise to its membership.
Tanya Bolden has joined the nonprofit group as program manager of corporate responsibility, and Jim Zamjahn was named program manager of supply chain.
Both staffers will lead teams of volunteers chosen from member companies to offer member companies their expertise on cost-cutting, environmental reporting, working conditions and health and safety.
Before joining AIAG, Bolden was a corporate responsibility manager at General Motors Co., and Zamjahn was an independent management consultant.
