Mazda has generated two sketches of a compact SUV concept, named the Minagi, that's set to debut at the Geneva auto show in early March.
The sketches were set to be released on Jan. 19 but were published on Tuesday by autonet.at, an Austrian Web site.
The four-door Minagi, which carries more than a hint of the latest Hyundai iX35/Tuscon in its exterior styling, previews an entry-level Mazda SUV recently caught testing in Europe. It is set to carry the name CX-5 when it is unveiled at the Frankfurt auto show in September. It is unclear when it will go on sale.
The CX-5 will join three crossovers and SUVs in Mazda's U.S. lineup - the CX-7, CX-9 and Tribute.
