SOUTHFIELD, Mich. - Grede Holdings LLC has established its corporate headquarters in Southfield, Mich.
The move consolidates three former administrative locations in Alabama, Wisconsin and Michigan into one central office. According to Grede, 60 percent of its annual revenue is generated from customers within 300 miles of its new Michigan headquarters.
Grede Holdings was formed in 2010 from the combined assets of Citation Corp. and Grede Foundries Inc., which underwent Chapter 11 reorganization.
In December, Grede purchased GTL Precision Patterns, a North Carolina machining operation, for an undisclosed sum.
Grede produces ductile, gray and specialty iron castings. The privately held company has 13 foundries and three machining operations in the United States.
