Mini plans to add three new vehicles within the next two years and up to 23 more dealerships. So what will that mean for sales?
"We have everything it takes with our vehicle and dealer expansion to potentially double sales in the medium term," Jim McDowell, head of Mini USA, said at the recent launch of the Mini Countryman crossover.
Mini sold 45,225 cars here last year after peaking at 54,077 in 2008. Through September, sales are down 1 percent over last year to 34,588.
