J.D. BYRIDER -- Todd Gunderson, 41, to vice president of store operations for Byrider's 13 company-owned stores. He had been senior vice president of credit operations at Wells Fargo & Co. His new duties include managing sales, underwriting and risk management, collections, service and inventory management for the 13 stores.
J.D. Byrider, of Carmel, Ind., is a used-vehicle retailer with 124 franchisee- and company-owned dealerships in 30 states.
KAR AUCTION SERVICES INC. -- Warren Byrd, 48, to executive vice president of corporate development and real estate. He had been executive vice president of corporate development at ADESA Inc., KAR's wholesale used-vehicle auction unit.
KAR, of Carmel, Ind., provides vehicle and salvage auction services.
McCANN WORLDGROUP -- Joe Garcia to president of McCann Midwest in suburban Detroit. He had been president and CEO of BBDO Detroit.
Garcia succeeds Garry Neel, who becomes executive vice president and global account director for McCann's General Motors business. Neel previously oversaw both McCann Midwest and the General Motors business.
McCann Worldgroup, of New York, is a global marketing communications company composed of several units, including the global advertising agency McCann Erickson Worldwide.
MERCEDES-BENZ FINANCIAL -- Horacio Trujillo, 41, to head of remarketing. He had been part of the company's risk management operations.
In his new position, Trujillo will manage remarketing processes, including customer and asset strategies for Mercedes-Benz USA.
Trujillo will succeed Jeff Gartland, 51, who will lead the company's business center operations. He will be responsible for credit, funding and internal operations for Mercedes-Benz Financial in the United States.
Tom O'Connor, 47, to head of collections, responsible for the strategic direction of Mercedes-Benz Financial collections and Daimler Truck Financial small-business collections. He succeeds Sam Ridlon, 39, who is assuming a similar position at parent Daimler Financial in Germany.
NAC -- Stephen Anderson, 54, to vice president of sales. He had been Western U.S. sales manager for Warranty Solutions, a unit of Wells Fargo Dealer Services in Denver.
Anderson will lead and expand sales and training initiatives for the company's sales team, agents and clients in North America.
NAC, of Westerville, Ohio, provides customized service contract products and services.
PORSCHE CARS NORTH AMERICA -- Thierry Kartochian, 43, to executive vice president and CFO.
He had been executive vice president of Porsche Business Services and CFO of Porsche Financial Services in Chicago. The native of France also has been CFO and director of human resources for Porsche France Group.
Kartochian replaces Frank Hoffmann, 46, who left the company.
THINK -- Michael Lock, 44, to chief marketing officer. He was CEO of Ducati North America, a unit of motorcycle manufacturer Ducati Motor Holding S.p.A., of Bologna, Italy.
In his new post at electric-vehicle manufacturer Think, Lock will oversee global brand and commercial development operations.
UNITED STATES COUNCIL FOR AUTOMOTIVE RESEARCH -- Steve Zimmer to executive director. He succeeds Don Walkowicz, who has retired.
USCAR, near Detroit, is an umbrella organization that coordinates collaborative research projects for Chrysler Group, Ford Motor Co. and General Motors Co.
