VAuto.com, which specializes in used-vehicle inventory management systems, ranked No. 125 on the overall list and No. 10 on the list of fastest-growing software companies.
VinSolutions.com ranked No. 33 on the list of fastest-growing software companies; the dealership marketing systems company came in at No. 447 overall.
Among the other automotive tech companies to make Inc.'s 5000 list are dealership management companies Homenet Automotive at No. 1,055 and Dealer.com at No.1,056. DealerSocket.com, a dealership customer relationship management company, ranked No. 1,829.
To qualify for the list, the for-profit companies must be based in the United States and must be privately held and not subsidiaries or divisions of other companies as of Dec. 31, 2009.
