STUTTGART -- Fiat's German sales organization took over sales activities this month for the Chrysler, Jeep and Dodge brands in Germany.
The Chrysler brand will disappear in Europe in favor of Lancia, except in the United Kingdom and Ireland, where Lancias are not sold. Lancia's lineup will get larger vehicles adapted from Chrysler products. Eight new models are planned by 2014. Dodge is shrinking into a specialty brand in Europe, and Jeep will be strengthened.
