To the Editor:
Regarding "The new Detroit 3/What a difference a year makes for Ford, Chapter 11 twins" (May 24): It was wrong that you included Ford with the "Chapter 11 twins."
The difference between Ford and the other manufacturers is like night and day. Ford is paying everybody back without a bailout and made a lot more money since the twins ducked into bankruptcy. What they did to their dealers was wrong.
Ford should stand alone as the right way to run a business and should get all the credit in the world because it did the things necessary to stay in business.
Ford CEO Alan Mulally has done a great job. It took common sense to know the company was on the wrong path. He knew it and started fixing things right out of the box.
The twins were in denial.
Please give Ford the credit it deserves.
