NASHVILLE -- Nissan North America has shifted Infiniti marketing boss Jon Brancheau to Nissan Division, replacing Joel Ewanick, who left this month for General Motors Co.
Brancheau was recruited to Infiniti in 2008 from GM, where he was director of media operations for all of the automaker's brands. Most recently, he was director of global Infiniti marketing communication and media, responsible for the strategic development of Infiniti's brand communications.
As vice president of marketing for Nissan Division, he will oversee marketing, pricing and product management, the automaker said Friday.
Ewanick, now GM's marketing chief, was at Nissan for less than six weeks after being recruited from Hyundai.
