LOS ANGELES -- Toyota Motor Corp. is resuming sales of its Lexus GX 460 SUV, which were halted for two weeks because of stability concerns, Reuters reported.
Toyota stopped sales after Consumer Reports magazine called the vehicle a "safety risk" because of the potential for turning over during turns. It also recalled 9,400 GX 460 models already sold.
Toyota said it would install software to update the electronic stability control, which will apply more hydraulic pressure when a slide is detected. Toyota also made changes on the production line.
