NEW YORK -- Mazda has priced its Mazda2 subcompact starting at $14,730, including freight.
The car arrives at U.S. dealerships in July.
The base model will be powered by a 100-hp, 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine and is available with a five-speed manual transmission. A four-speed automatic transmission adds $800 to the price.
Standard features include air conditioning, antilock brakes, dynamic stability control with traction control, electric power steering, 15-inch wheels, CD/MP3 stereo, tilt steering wheel, remote keyless entry system and power mirrors, windows and door locks.
