Daniel Bealko, a former General Motors aluminum trader who admitted being part of a multimillion-dollar kickback scheme, has been sentenced to nearly six years in prison. He also was ordered to pay $6.5 million in restitution to GM.
The former aluminum trader pleaded guilty in November to charges related to a scheme to divert sales of aluminum from GM to third parties in return for kickbacks that cost the automaker more than $80 million.
