February's North America vehicle production total was 956,540, up 58 percent from February 2009. It was the fourth consecutive month-over-month increase and the first time since 2002 that both January and February had a month-over-month increase.
Last month car production rose 71 percent in the United States, 64 percent in Canada, 62 percent in Mexico and 67 percent in North America.
Truck output rose 40 percent in the United States, 96 percent in Canada, 64 percent in Mexico and 50 percent in North America.
Vehicle output rose 51 percent in the United States, 79 percent in Canada and 63 percent in Mexico.
