Northwood University in Midland, Mich., honored seven auto dealers with its Dealer Education Awards at a ceremony Feb. 14 in conjunction with the National Automobile Dealers Association convention in Orlando.
These dealers were honored for contributions to public or private education:

-- Joe Falzon of Signature Ford-Lincoln-Mercury in Owosso, Mich.
-- Manfred Jetzlaff of Northeim, Germany
-- Raj Lally of Orange Buick-GMC in Orlando
-- Barron Meade of Meade Group in Utica, Mich.
-- Kevin Reilly of Alexandria Hyundai in Alexandria, Va.
-- Bob Velthuis of Terwindt & Hekking in the Netherlands
Ford Motor Co. honored four dealers for dedication to their communities. Ford's Salute to Dealers, conducted under the guidance of Edsel Ford II, a member of Ford's board of directors, was held Feb. 12 in conjunction with the National Automobile Dealers Association convention in Orlando.
The program was established in 2001 to show Ford's commitment to dealers who improve the lives of those in need. This year's honorees are:

-- Daniel Pfeiffer of Pfeiffer Lincoln-Mercury in Grand Rapids, Mich.

-- Phil Smith of Dick Smith Ford in Raytown, Mo.
