North America production for November totaled 930,546 units, up 7 percent over November 2008. It was the first time since February 2008 that a month-over-month increase was recorded.
Car production was down 2 percent in the United States, 22 percent in Canada, 6 percent in Mexico and 8 percent in North America.
Truck output rose 24 percent in the United States, 44 percent in Canada, 2 percent in Mexico and 23 percent in North America.
Vehicle output rose 12 percent in the United States and 0.7 percent in Canada. Vehicle output fell 4 percent in Mexico.
