Mark IV Industries Inc. emerged from Chapter 11 bankruptcy reorganization today, the supplier said in a statement.
The Amherst, N.Y., company exited Chapter 11 after securing nearly $200 million in financing. It also eliminated about $750 million in debt during bankruptcy, the company said. Mark IV filed for reorganization April 30.
While in bankruptcy, Mark IV continued to deliver parts to automakers and other vendors, the company said. Mark IV makes fan belts, plastic intake manifolds, water pumps and other engine parts.
With sales of $198 million in 2008, Mark IV ranked 137th on the Automotive News list of the top 150 North American suppliers.
