Bruce Emaus, founding president of automotive software company Vector CANtech Inc., is retiring. Tony Mascolo, the company's vice president of business development and sales, will replace Emaus, effective today.
Emaus, 61, joined Vector in 1997, the year the suburban Detroit company was founded as a subsidiary of Germany's Vector Informatik GmbH.
Mascolo joined the company in January after working as vice president of sales and marketing and program management for Saturn Electronics and Engineering Inc., an electronics and solenoids supplier in suburban Detroit. The company is not related to the General Motors Co. brand.
