LOS ANGELES — Hyundai division is adding incentives to its successful program that lets buyers return cars if they lose their jobs.
In March, Hyundai is offering 4.9 percent loans on the Accent, Elantra and Sonata.
Hyundai already had benefited from Hyundai Assurance. Buyers who lose their jobs can return cars within a year of purchase.
"We're getting great traffic," says Hyundai dealer Bill Wallace in Stuart, Fla. He says his sales were up about 15 percent in January and February and would have been higher if credit were more readily available.
