DETROIT — EaglePicher Corp. has sold its Hillsdale Automotive subsidiary to Cerion LLC. Terms were not disclosed.
Hillsdale Automotive, of suburban Detroit, will be renamed Metavation. The company manufactures engine, transmission and driveline components at four plants in Michigan and one in Mexico. Hillsdale reported sales of $100 million in the fiscal year that ended in November 2007.
Cerion, of suburban Detroit, is a privately held company that acquires and operates small and medium-sized machining operations.
