The Green Car Revolution is well under way. What does it mean to you? Find out at the first Automotive News Green Car Conference/Exposition on Nov. 13 in suburban Detroit.
Senior automotive executives will examine the powertrains of the future, how design affects a vehicle's environmental footprint and how engineers can reduce so-called parasitic energy losses — anything that drains energy without moving the vehicle.
The powertrain panel will include speakers from Michelin Group, Toyota Motor Sales U.S.A. Inc., Ford Motor Co., BorgWarner Inc. and A123 Systems Inc.
The conference also will offer a product showcase of green vehicles, parts and technology along with the first Automotive News PACE Environmental Awards. c
