Toyota dealer Pat Lobb has discovered that it pays to be green. In suburban Dallas, he built an energy-efficient store that recycles water, oil and other wastes, earning him certification from the U.S. Green Building Council.
Now he's enjoying the benefits. Lower utility bills will help Lobb recover his investment in three to five years. And customers have been receptive to his marketing campaign, which focuses on his store's green features.
Find out how he did it in an Automotive News Webinar at 1 p.m. Tuesday, June 24. And learn how other dealers have retrofitted stores to reduce utility bills, recycle wastes and earn green recognition.
Webinar panelists will be Lobb; Justin Doak, the retail sector manager for the Green Building Council; Doug Greenhaus, the National Automobile Dealers Association's director of environment, health and safety; and Automotive News Editor David Sedgwick.
