WASHINGTON -- Auto dealers from California, South Carolina, Kentucky and Wisconsin are finalists for the Dealer of the Year Award from the American International Automobile Dealers Association.
The five finalists were nominated by colleagues for their contributions to their communities and the industry, AIADA said today.
The award, sponsored by Newsweek magazine, will be presented at the second annual International Auto Industry Summit held by AIADA here on April 30 and May 1. Also participating in the summit is the Association of International Automobile Manufacturers, which has 14 import-brand automakers as members.
AIADA President Cody Lusk said the Dealer of the Year Award is a tribute to some of Americas hardest-working small-business owners.
AIADA, which represents the interests of 11,000 import-brand franchises, identified the nominees as:
William Bradshaw, owner of Bradshaw Automotive in Greer, S.C.
Bud Gordon Jr., owner of Quality Toyota and Gordon Automotive Group in Yorba Linda, Calif.
Mark Olinyk, president of Mark Automotive in Wisconsin Rapids, Wis.
Paul Rusnak, CEO of Rusnak Auto Group in Pasadena, Calif.
Richard Swope, CEO of Sam Swope Auto Group in Prospect, Ky.
