Ford will offer a glass roof option on the 2009 Mustang coupe. Ford said the glass roof, once limited to concept car designs, is aimed at buyers who want more natural light without the higher cost of a convertible.
The factory-installed, fixed-glass roof will be a $1,995 option. A manual roller blind is included. Ford says the glass is safety glass, which — like other automotive glass — shatters without sharp or jagged edges.
