Regarding the Oct. 8 article about Jeff Morrill: "Rocks on the roof" may be a great idea in terms of environment, but if he gets 40 mph-plus winds, he'll have them all over his new-car inventory and his customers' cars ("Dealers: Innovation isn't optional").
I know from experience that it's a bad idea. Try explaining to a customer with a $100,000-plus car that you have to repair and repaint it because rocks came off the roof of the building. Insurers don't see it as environmentally friendly. I suggest he get rid of the rocks.
