DETROIT - Charlie Holleran, Ford Motor Co.'s public relations chief, is leaving the company. Ford communications executive Ray Day will replace him as vice president of communications. The change comes as Ford moves to integrate its marketing and public relations efforts. Day, 41, will report to Jim Farley, who will join Ford in mid-November as group vice president of marketing and communications. Holleran, 62, had reported to CEO Alan Mulally. But Farley, who is assuming a new position at Ford, would have become Holleran's boss had Holleran stayed on.
