RICARDO PLC — Dave Pickett, 50, to the newly created position of global procurement director. He had been interim managing director of the company's German subsidiary, Ricardo Deutschland GmbH.
Ricardo, of the United Kingdom, designs and develops engines, transmissions, drivelines and vehicle systems and develops gasoline, diesel and fuel cell technology. Ricardo's North American headquarters is in suburban Detroit.
SHAININ LLC — Adrian Hooper, 45; Bill Maxson, 41; and Mike Ruhland, 46, to senior consultants. They had been consultants. Hooper is responsible for teaching and coaching clients in Europe. Maxson specializes in engineering and software problems. Ruhland focuses on business and manufacturing process design.
Shainin, of suburban Detroit, is an automotive consulting firm.
