Bob Lund, a former General Motors vice president of sales and marketing, died Thursday, Oct. 18. He was 87.
Lund began his career at GM as a district sales manager for Chevrolet in 1946.
He was named Chevrolet general sales manager in 1969.
Lund became general manager of Cadillac in 1973 and general manager of Chevrolet in 1974. He held the Chevrolet job until 1982, when he was named to the vice presidential post.
After retiring in 1984, Lund operated three Cadillac dealerships in the Phoenix area with his son, John.
